Terms of Service
Career Parrot helps you prepare a CV, explore vacancies and organize application drafts. It does not guarantee a job, interview, visa, sponsorship or employer response.
Operator and eligibility
Career Parrot is operated by Opinionated Technologies. Contact: grey@greyjabesi.com. The service is intended for adults aged 18 or older. Keep your account secure and provide information you are entitled to use.
Your CV and applications
You remain responsible for checking every name, date, qualification and claim before approving a CV or using a draft. AI suggestions may be imperfect. Matching is guidance based on the information available, not a decision about your eligibility. Check the original vacancy and any work-permission requirements. Automatic employer sending is not connected at present; a draft or preview is not a submitted application.
Membership and payment
The card subscription is USD 30 per month, recurring until cancelled. Malawi residents may instead choose PayChangu at MWK 120,000 for 30 days of access as a one-time payment, when that checkout is available. PayChangu access does not renew automatically. These are fixed provider-specific prices, not a quoted exchange rate. Card checkout remains an option for Malawi residents. Checkout shows the amount and currency before you pay. There is no trial or application guarantee. Your bank may apply currency-conversion or other fees. Features may have usage limits disclosed in the service; current AI wording requests are limited per account and by the shared service allowance. New checkout may be unavailable while payment setup is incomplete.
Access, cancellation and refunds
Before subscribing, review the Refund Policy and request immediate service access only if that is what you want. Manage billing in Settings controls future renewals. A refund and cancellation are separate actions. The discretionary refund-request window is 24 hours from the relevant charge, subject to manual review and without limiting statutory rights. Account deletion cancels membership and ends access immediately.
Acceptable use
Do not submit false qualifications, impersonate others, misuse another person’s personal information, scrape or attack the service, bypass usage controls or use it to send spam. We may restrict misuse or unsafe activity and will apply any mandatory consumer protections.
Privacy and third parties
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is processed. Vacancy websites, payment providers and communications services have their own terms. We cannot guarantee third-party vacancies remain open or that source statements are correct.
Availability and legal rights
We work to provide the service reliably but may need to maintain or change it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory protections in your place of residence remain available.
